HP has just unveiled a new convertible laptop in its lineup which is named as the Elite Dragonfly laptop. Now, this laptop has a 13.3-inch display which means that it is big enough to use as a normal laptop while it can be very handy when used as a laptop. Also, this laptop from HP is Project Athena-certified which means that it meets the standards of battery life set by Intel to get this certification. HP is placing this convertible laptop as a high-end, compact laptop which lasts long for travelling as well. Talking about lasting long, HP claims that the Elite Dragonfly can run for 24 hours on a single charge which no other laptop in the market offers at the moment.
As far as the specifications of HP Elite Dragonfly are concerned, it comes with a 13.3-inch Full HD display. There is up to 2TB of NVMe storage on this laptop which is the fastest type of SSD storage that you can get. Also, you can have up to 16GB of LPDDR3 on this laptop but the disappointing part is that it does not come with LPDDR4 RAM. Also, it comes with ultra-thin bezels while having 360-degree flexibility. On top of that, you also get Windows Hello functionality on this laptop which means that you can unlock the laptop with just your face.
Along with that, there are plenty of ports on this laptop as you get 2 Thunderbolt 3 ports, a USB 3.1 port, HDMI, headphone and security lock slot as well. You also don’t need to worry about charging on this HP laptop as it comes with HP Fast Charge which claims 50% charge in 30 minutes. The base variant of the HP Elite Dragonfly comes with an Intel Core i5 processor, 128GB SSD and 8GB of RAM and it starts at $1549 while the top-end variant costs significantly more.
