Microsoft is going to announce a whole bunch of upgrades for the Surface products in its lineup. But we might also see some new products announced at this Surface event. For now, we know that the Microsoft Surface announcement event is scheduled for October 2. So we will know the products that the company will reveal at this event. At the moment, we are aware that Microsoft Surface Book 3, Surface Laptop 3 as well as Surface Pro 7 are getting announced for sure.

On the other hand, we can also say that the Microsoft Surface Studio will get an upgrade along with an upgraded Surface Pen too. One upgrade we know for sure is that the devices will have 10th generation Intel processors. Apart from that, detail regarding the upcoming devices from Microsoft is few and far in between. But we do know that Microsoft is looking to make some exciting announcements at this event. One thing we would like to mention is that the Surface foldable device teaser is also expected.

Now, Microsoft has teased its upcoming Surface event with a headline saying ‘exciting new innovations’ which clearly hints at the upcoming foldable device from the company. However, we might see some products that are not leaked thus far. With the teaser, Microsoft also bundled sounds of Surface clicks, taps, and inking. We believe that these are the sounds of someone typing on a Microsoft Surface device, folding the case and taping on the display as well. While these are all just speculations, we could see something new at the event as well.

It is also worth noting that the sounds do not feel like typing on a physical keyboard but a virtual one so we might indeed see the dual-display Microsoft Surface device that everyone has been talking about at this event.
