We have told you about the leaked images of the Surface lineup of products. Now, Microsoft has revealed that their lineup of products will be unveiled on October 2. However, we received those images days prior to the launch. A leaked image of the Surface Pen has also emerged now which keeps almost nothing to be unveiled for Microsoft. But we have also seen that it is almost impossible to keep a product completely under wraps nowadays. So it is also a good thing that Microsoft’s products were not revealed months ago.
Talking about the latest image of a Surface Pen, we can see that the Surface Pen now has a casing of its own. This is the case in which you can place your Surface Pen when not in use. However, the case serves its purpose of charging the Surface Pen as well. In what is called a ‘charging cradle’, we get our first look at the latest innovation from Microsoft.
This image was leaked by Brad Sams who is also n editor at Thurrott.com. Talking about the charging cable, one thing we can see is that the cradle will use a USB Type-C cable for charging which means you might be able to use your Surface charger for charging the cradle too. Apart from that, the Pen is slightly new as well with some users pointing out a new tip design. Also, the Pen will now be completely matte black along with a Windows logo at the top of it.
Also, we can note that the Surface Pen can now be charged via wireless charging but we are not sure if it will charge on reverse-wireless charging enabled smartphones too. Now, we will get to see the official images of products along with its specifications in just a few hours time.
